Celebrate with New Amsterdam Presents and the creators of the Untitled Opera about Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs!

New Amsterdam Presents is excited to celebrate the upcoming Untitled Opera about Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs, at our annual Benefit Gala on November 2, 2015. Co-produced by NewAm and currently being developed at 3LD Art & Technology Center and the Wassaic Project, the opera is a collaboration between composer and NewAm co-director Judd Greenstein, director Joshua Frankel, choreographer Will Rawls, and Pulitzer Prize-winning librettist Tracy K. Smith.

The opera creative team has been hard at work this summer developing new scenes and preparing for the pre-premiere at Williams College in March 2016. The Benefit Gala will feature a VIP Dinner with the opera's creative team, a performance with new music and visuals from the opera, a silent auction, and a dance party with guest DJs. All of this is taking place at the state-of-the-art music venue National Sawdust, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

All proceeds from the Benefit will go to support the production of the opera and the New Amsterdam Presents mission.
